Cable housing wearing and leaking in integrated headsets is a known issue. A mechanic commented on one of my vids stating the Manufacturers specify an inspection on the hoses every twelve months.

He has seen cables that have leaked and that is why the bike came in, spongy brakes.

So guys, if you have these type of bikes with integrated headsets, CHECK THEM frequently.
